It's funny really. For so long, Juventus fans prayed their team would start matches with greater intensity, showing more ambition and desire to get off to a good start. Finally, their prayers have been answered, or so it seems. Scoring eight goals in the first 15 minutes of Serie A matches this season, Juventus are not only starting well but they're converting opportunities effectively.
Except now there's a new problem: As soon as Juve grabs the goals, they switch off, inviting all the pressure in the world. This happened against Atalanta in the 3-2 Coppa Italia win on Wednesday and again against Fiorentina in August when Juve were forced to work hard to secure a 2-1 result.
