It's oh so quiet on the transfer market for the Old Lady

With the winter transfer market closed, many questions were asked of Juventus. Why did they not make any substantial moves? With a near perfect squad, a beautifully balanced team and 12 consecutive wins, the answer is simple -- there was no need to buy.

The depth of the squad means that even if the club suffer injuries, there are several options who can provide the level of performance required.

Yet while the club opted to make no major investments for the first team, general manager Beppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici worked on the club's long term strategy, investing in youth products and scouting the youngsters they hope to bring to the club in the summer.
