Three goals in five minutes secured another win for Juventus who defeated Empoli 3-0 away from home. Giovanni Martusciello's men created interesting patterns of play and were both intelligent and entertaining when constructing opportunities. Their only problem lied in their inability to finish their chances, lacking that final pass to make a difference.
Juventus, reliant on Juan Cuadrado's pace and Miralem Pjanic's vision created opportunities but only really looked like a force to be reckoned with in the second half. Empoli raised their lines and began to concede space, allowing Juve to exploit their opportunities and score three goals in quick succession in the second half. A game played at a slow pace, the match proved tactically interesting if not all that entertaining.
