Two pieces I have read this week have stayed with me. Both were written exceptionally well, combining facts with humour in fantastic fashion.
The first is Daniel Taylor's article on Louis Van Gaal and his alleged 'philosophy'. Giving you insight on the tactician's beliefs on how football should be played and what he hopes to see in the future, the piece is extraordinarily entertaining. If you have a chance, click here to read.
The second is Raphael Honigstein's Bundesliga wrap. Noting how certain fans and their tribalistic beliefs have come to harm the game, Honigstein accurately points out how such sociopathic behaviour ruins a sport. Football to many, is about escapism so what happens when it becomes just another inconvenience? Click here to read.
