In a country where it is almost considered rude to score more than five, Juventus thrashed Hellas Verona 6-1 at home showcasing the fascinating array of talent they have going forward.
A chance to show off their benchwarmers, manager Massimiliano Allegri relied on a trident attack, playing a 4-3-3 formation that hasn't been tested for some time. It proved to be a stupendous idea, especially as Verona have previously struggled against sides that attack in numbers and play with wild abandon -- as this blog accurately noted in the preview.
Allegri left caution behind and instructed his team to enjoy the game and attack with courage to overwhelm the opponent.
