The players will be trying hard to switch off from the refereeing controversies generated during their 3-1 Serie A win over Napoli on Jan. 11. The club's management will also be busy, looking to strengthen the squad in the January transfer window.
With Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis using Twitter to criticise the errors made by the officials during the Bianconeri's visit to the San Paolo, tabloids have furiously filled column inches by reporting on the officials involved in the game. Many cannot fathom the bad offside calls and claimed they saw "whisperings of Calciopoli" in the events of Jan. 11.
