The fans aged, manager Massimiliano Allegri looked on the verge of collapsing and club president Andrea Agnelli was barely capable of containing his nerves. Deploying a 4-3-1-2 formation, Juventus were dynamic, intense and ferocious when attacking, creating an abundance of opportunities to pile on the pressure.

After so many games of dull and predictable build-up play, the Bianconeri were finally living up to their expectations, taking risks in a game that demanded victory.
